This is how to top up your BIGtionär account
Condition for payment
It is important that you obtain at least 2,500 points by the end of the billing period and that you have had one health screening exam and one preventative measure. Alternatively, you can also attend two health screening exams or two preventative measures. Incidentally: points are only awarded for measures that took place after the start of BIGtionär! Preventative measures from previous years can unfortunately not be recognised.
Points for taking part in BIGtionär
To get you started with BIGtionär, you’ll be given 1,000 initial points that will be credited to your points account immediately.

Points for preventative measures
Just send us proof of participation in a course for health promotion by post. We’ll check that the conditions for the prevention benefit have been met in accordance with § 20 SGB V, calculate the subsidy and credit you with the points in BIGtionär. Important: you can be awarded points for one course in each area for the year - so a maximum of 2,500 points. In addition you can collect points once a year for taking part in online health training.

Points for preventive care
You are awarded bonus points for numerous screening exams. Please complete our simple form for preventive care so that we can credit you with the points. Points are not credited automatically after your visit to the doctor. Some screening exams are credited once a year, some every two years. We observe the statutory guidelines where these credits are concerned. The health check that you can have as part of our BIGprohealth programme is also counted as a health screening measure and is credited to your account automatically.

* Cancer screening and breast cancer screening are usually conducted during a gynaecologist’s appointment. Please remember to enter both health screening examinations using the form, so that you are credited with 1,500 points.
** If customers have cover under BIGselect Dental supplementary insurance, they will be awarded 500 bonus points for having professional teeth cleaning. Alternatively, customers who do not have BIGselect Dental and have professional teeth cleaning on a private basis will be awarded 2,000 bonus points for this preventive measure. Only one of the benefits mentioned is awarded bonus points each calendar year.

Points for sporting activities
Are you a member of a sports club or gym, have you been awarded a German sports certificate (Sportabzeichen) or have you taken part in a BIG sports event? Then use our online form and upload your confirmation of participation there. The points will be allocated to you automatically. If you take part in our online health training, we will allocate the points at the end of the course.
