New guideline for health promotion
The guideline for health promotion for health insurance providers has been revised. The following changes were made as a result:
- Subsidies can be awarded for 2 courses a year, even two identical courses.
- It is no longer possible to repeat an identical course in the following year but only in the year after that, e.g. 2x Nordic walking in 2011, Nordic walking not allowed in 2012.
- Subsidies for children’s activities are only available after the age of 6.
Standard certificate of attendance
From 2012 a standard certificate of attendance is mandatory for all health insurance funds and course providers. Application for the subsidy is made as follows:
- Complete your certificate of attendance with your personal details and submit it to the provider of the health promotion course.
- Once the course is over, the provider will complete all the required details including signature and stamp.
- Send these to us in the original for approval of the subsidy.
