Health Screening 35 – greater peace of mind thanks to preventive care
As a modern health insurance fund, BIG places great value on prevention and health promotion. Women and men over the age of 35 are entitled to screening exams every two years.
Range of services
- Patient’s medical history: taking the individual medical case history, family and social history, in particular determining the risk profile
- Clinical examination: examination to ascertain overall level of health (total physical condition)
- Laboratory tests: blood tests (including taking of blood samples) to determine overall cholesterol levels, glucose, protein, erythrocytes, leucocytes and nitrite (urine test strip analysis)
- Skin cancer screening: visual examination of the skin with a magnifying glass
