Immunisations – active health protection
All female policyholders between the age of 9 and 25 can be vaccinated by their gynaecologist against cervical cancer. Three pre-filled syringes with the vaccine Gardasil or Cervarix are required within six months for the vaccination. We will reimburse you for the costs of each vaccination.
Card or reimbursement of costs?
In some German states, the doctor may issue a private prescription. In this case, you will first have to pay the costs yourself and we will then reimburse you according to specified rates. The doctor can tell you if the vaccination can be settled using the health insurance card. Then you will be given a statutory health insurance prescription.
