1 to U11 – the best of care from an early age on
An established series of check-ups helps to identify illnesses and developmental disorders and to protect your child’s health as soon as possible. Apart from physical development, the doctor also examines your child’s social and psychological development.
U10 and U11 – extra benefit from BIG
There are basically ten health screening exams, the so-called “U check-ups”, from birth until adulthood included in the range of free benefits offered by BIG. U10 and U11 are firmly counted as an extra benefit in BIG’s programme for preventive care. Just give your paediatrician the health insurance card, they can then settle the costs for the check-up with BIG directly. If your doctor wants to issue you with a private invoice, please contact us so that you do not incur any unnecessary costs.
J1 – health screening continues
BIG covers the costs for J1 for teenagers aged from 12 to 14 years – this is a further health screening exam, which we will remind you of by post in good time.
