Even teeth that are well looked-after are part of an attractive appearance and contribute to good health. This is why BIG will cover the costs for orthodontic treatment under particular circumstances.
Procedures deemed necessary for medical reasons
BIG’s services include all orthodontic procedures that are deemed necessary for medical reasons. This applies for example to malocclusion of the jaw or teeth. The insured person may not however be over the age of 18 or there must be a particularly severe case of jaw occlusion.
