How high will my bonus be for an order with a prescription?

  • 3% of the price of the medicine, but at least 2.50 euros guaranteed bonus** and up to 15 euros maximum bonus
  • Bonus** also for policyholders exempt from prescription charges
  • 10% bonus for each medicine that is not paid by the health insurance fund (maximum of 15 euros)
  • In the case of orders without a prescription, you always save at least 10% of the manufacturer’s recommended retail price.
  • Above and beyond this, there are regular special offers according to season: for top products with up to 40% reductions in the catalogue or in the online shop.

**no bonus for medical devices or prescription medicines exempt from prescription charges and for products that are not medicines

How is my bonus calculated?

Policyholders liable for co-payments have the bonus offset with the co-payment.

Example: you have a prescription medicine that is priced at 20 euros and requires a co-payment of 5 euros. You will be awarded a 3% bonus for the value of the medicine, a minimum of 2.50 euros (= 2.50 euros bonus). This is then deducted from the co-payment. So you won’t be paying 5 euro co-payment but only 2.50 euros. You save 50%. If the bonus is more than the co-payment, the remainder is similarly credited to your bonus account and is available to offset against another co-payment or for over-the-counter medicines.

Example: you have a prescription medicine that is priced at 500 euros and requires a co-payment of 10 euros. You will be awarded a 3% bonus for the value of the medicine, a maximum of 15 euros (= 15 euros bonus). This is then deducted from the co-payment. So you save the 10 euros co-payment and your bonus account is credited with 5 euros. You save over 100%. Policyholders exempt from prescription charges and children have the bonus credited to the personal bonus account. This is then offset against the next order for over-the-counter articles. Please send the pharmacy a copy of your exemption from prescription charges.

Can I combine the customer accounts and the bonus for several members of my family?

No. One of the advantages at Europa Apotheek Venlo is the automatic check to see whether your medicines are compatible with each other. In order to be able to carry out this check reliably, the pharmacy saves the medicines for each customer separately in a database.

Where and how can I find out how many points I have in my bonus account?

  • The bonus account statement is shown in the patient information that is enclosed with each invoice.
  • You can also obtain it by phoning the service number 0180.2276225*.

*0.06 euro per call from German landline phones, costs may differ for mobile phones

Do I have to pay the costs for post and packaging?

There are no charges for postage if you send at least one prescription with your order. Ordering via the dm pharmacy concession (Pharma Punkt) is also free. Insofar as you order only non-prescription medicines, there is a flat-rate charge of 3.95 euros if the order is less than 29 euros in value. This can be easily avoided by enclosing your health insurance fund prescription.

Is there a minimum order amount?

No, there is no minimum order.

How do I pay?

  • Simply and conveniently with direct debit
  • Alternatively you can also pay by bank transfer.
  • An online order is only possible at Europa Apotheek if you pay by direct debit (Lastschrift).
  • It is not possible to pay by credit card or cash on delivery.

Do I have to make a foreign transfer?

No. Your payment is made to the German account: Deutsche Bank Pforzheim Sort code 66 67 00 06 Account number 0 14 80 98 00

If I send the pharmacy a private prescription, will I get it back again when the goods are delivered?

Who do I contact if I have a complaint?

Call the service number 0180.2276225*. *0.06 euro per call from German landline phones, costs may differ for mobile phones.
